Renewable Energy and Responsible Resource Management

Renewable does not automatically mean impact-free. Responsible management keeps resources available for future generations.

A resource is renewable when it is replenished naturally — but only if it is used within the limits of that replenishment and with care for the wider environment.

Materials and lifecycle

Panels, turbines and batteries require materials whose extraction, manufacture and eventual recycling all matter. Lifecycle thinking helps compare options fairly.

Efficiency first

The cleanest kilowatt-hour is often the one that is not needed. Energy efficiency remains a foundation of responsible energy use.
